They should really be having an extremely pissed-off Monday.

The whole playing and coaching group should be burning at that loss. I think this decision makes sense for a number of reasons.

Makes sense. Media would be sniffing around looking for any sign of Carlton players behaving badly.

Finally the blokes have a year where they can have a quiet drink without the media hounds circling them for a Fev story and they pull the pin! :lol:

Great idea in theory. In practice though I can see a gutter trash Hutchy/Howard/take your pick getting a photo of a few of the boys having a quiet schooner during today's 'lunch' and running with the 'Rookies ignore Judd' type headline. Rod for your own back making these sort of calls I reckon.
