Just asked my 5yr old son if he wanted to go up the park for a kick. He said no because all we have are Carlton balls and they're losers. He's been a member since the day he was born and I think I just lost him to the darkside. His filth supporting grandfather will just hammer it home now. :banghead:

Good thread this.
2nd quarter at the G..walked out..nearly in tears..got angry a bit later...but gee, it was nice looking out at the soccer stadium..so close up there...
and of course, the train was very uncrowded and relaxed cos we left before 3/4 time.

Show him the '70, '79, and '81 Grand Finals.

Agree. The train was uncrowded and we even had time to do some shopping on the way home to cheer ourselves up.

Until today, I had never left a game before three quarter time.

Left at half time and went to the Corner. Few sad faced Blues fans already there. United in defeat.

They wear weird tight shorts and have funny hair styles and even moustaches. Kid might not understand.

Sad day for Carlton and great day for all else: I did a thmb nail design of the new showroom.

I left 10 mins before half time. The earliest I have ever left a game - Great decision!!!!

Before people jmp up and down and say that its disloyal etc..... (which is what I used to say) - I will stay and watch us lose if we at least give a yelp but if we play with no game plan and no skill or effort I refuse to waste my Saturday.
