Why is it only Ratts that needs a pass mark at the club ???

What about "what will constitute a pass mark for Kernahan, Swann, Icke and Hughes". Why do they get off so scott free ? What about the mess left behind by Elliott ? We are still paying for it. Remember the 1999 draft and our first selection was something like pick 63 (Houlihan) because we traded all the good picks for old duds. Anyone still not worked out why we don't have any players aged 28 - 32 that are "revered" by their team mates.

Which brings me to the above four. Anybody wonder how we have assembled a list of players with so poor disposal skills. We mucked 4 very easy inside 50's in the first quarter that should have led to close range set shots. We do this too often. Anybody notice that too many of our players have no idea about "kicking to advantage".

We have in the last four years coughed picks 1,17 and 24 on ruckmen !!! Only to get beaten in the ruck today by a 34 gamer !!!

And the strategy of giving up pick 11 for a Brock McLean ??? Given the situation over the next few years with GC 17 and GWS that pick 11 was one might bonus. Who was the brains trust behind this strategy.

I am not saying Ratten doesn't have his faults but he is not alone. It is just too simplistic to just blame the coach only. I have read glowing statements on TC on Icke but I have yet to see anything that makes him stand out from the pack.

If i were the son in-law who sits on the board of a club his father in-law has poured 10's of millions of dollars into, i'd be demanding a thorough review of every single position from top to bottom at the Carlton Football Club
