Players that leave Carlton through their own volition are mercenary scum.

Players that leave their club to join Carlton are simply trying to fulfill a lifelong dream to reach the pinnacle of sporting achievement. Who could blame them.

Obviously correct Stamos  .

The Hamill exit was the worst I can remember in my 5 decades supporting Carlton. He was a top player in his prime who would have done very well at Carlton through the rest of his career, who left us for..... StKilda!!!. Humiliating. Number 1 mercenary scum Stamos as you say.

The players who come to us for money and opportunity are obviously all fine.

The players who leave us at the end of their careers or because we dont really need them are all fine.

But to lose a player you want who doesnt want you. Terrible.

Thank God Hamill ended his career in chronic pain, missing numerous games, with a second rate club, and without achieving success. Suffer in your jocks Aaron

Ditto

Said it before, but Crosswell and Jezza hurt me when they left.
Moreso Crosswell because I could understand Jezza; he backed the wrong horse.

I actually think we won on that 'deal' Hamill spent most his time at the Saints injured and rarely reached the level he had at Carlton.

We got Livo and Cranage, I don't think anyone had a victory.

Yeah I was going to say - Getting Livo can not be considered a win.

We won on paper, we just failed to capitalise on it.
