We are starting to build a really solid list where go beyond the best 22 and have players outside the top 22 who can fill a role if required and the team not be too severely weakened if we lose a few players - I note that we have after sunday used 31 players for the year in the senior team -those not playing on sunday who have played senior football this year are Warnock yarran houlihan waite bower johnson armfield white lucas -arguably yarran armfield bower waite and houlihan are in our best 22 - white johnson warnock and the very impressive lucas all could step into the senior team and fill a role adequately

What also is good is whilst I think they have been great servants in the dark years that we havent had to go back to wiggins and fisher (yes I know he has been injured) in playing those 31 players

In addition once fit you would think hampson would be in our top 30 players so there is another person who adds to our depth

Building nicely a list that with a few more additions and more experience will take us in the next few years very deep into the finals

I just got back in and after a yarn and a couple of schooners and was talking about the same thing...even here in Bondi it's all about Carlton's depth...and the scary thing is that they played finals last year with Fev and this year without Fev and a big injury list we are doing better. Flag type list imo. Plenty of height and plenty of pace and the team is getting tougher as a hole.

Just wait and see when Waite Bower Austin Houla Hampson/Warnock Yarran Armfield and Lucas are back and fully fit and in top gear....hopefully we can really step up and have a change of luck and have a healthy list in the next half season. Top 4 with a bit of luck.

Plenty of depth though as you say. Can't see Wiggler and Fish needed like we used up to a year or so ago.
