And if Koutoufides does take his place in the line-up and the Blues win, he will receive the Blues' first pre-season trophy since their 1997 success from former teammate Brett Ratten.

The AFL announced on Friday that a former player from each club had been invited to present the Wizard Home Loans Cup to the winning team on Saturday night with Ratten to present the trophy if the Blues win and former champion Eagles' wingman Chris Mainwaring to present the trophy to West Coast skipper Ben Cousins should the Eagles win.

can you imagine the noise - 50,000 blue boys booing demitrispew - as we are presented with the Cup.

What an image.

He must have been warned.

Never fear, our time will come.

Why couldn't they have picked Fraser Brown?

Reckon Dog would have quickly handed the cup to Kouta or Campo and then made a bee line for AD and Ron, spearing them off the stage.

As he was as a player, wouldn't have the guts to put himself in such a situation.
