Nice one Danny.

I'd barrack for Charles Manson if he wore navy blue.

Re: Arrogance.

Someone once said to me that I was arrogant.

'No', I said, 'not arrogant - just better than you.'

That's what it feels like to be a Carlton supporter. The fear is growing among the opposition and I love it.

I was over them both a long time ago.

If anything, Black Friday was a blessing in disguise.
If we had been allowed to take Goddard and Wells, I can guarantee you that we wouldn't have got Stevens and Walker.

I'm happy with the way things have turned out.

If we win on Saturday night, or even if not...we can all give Demetriou and or Ron Evans a lovely reception when they are introduced

Goddard is pretty good, but at no 1 and Karl at 72,who got the best value.Goddard gets huge plaudits for his kicking, which in my view is nearly as good as Buckleys. But Karl also has that fantastic ability to spot a target over a long distance.Whats done is done and i reckon Karl and the other boys from that draft will do me.Ill tell you something, given a chance to swap Karl for Goddard,id stick with Karl.

I reckon come 2007, that's when the Draft penalties will come home to roost. Don't get me wrong, Pagan has done a great job so far. Unfortunately you will not have the quality youngsters coming through in a couple of years.

Lets look at the Saints, they were in the bottom 3 for 3 years, and during that time they also picked up 2 draft concessions. The Bulldogs have had 2 draft concessions as well. Watch for them to be in the top 4 by 2007. The Blues have not had this luxury, thanks to Mr. Pigs Arse.

So, to sum up, enjoy this season because it aint gonna last.

NeXus Nick.

gee - your doing a great job to getting banned here mate.

There was only two players that we will feel the lose of.

Danny Wells & Brandon Goddard and in the end we would probably not be able to afford to keep them anyone with some of the kids we have coming up.

Other than that we will be fine.

You see, Carlton unlike St Kilda has very talented kids that will becoming our why via the father son rule, to the point where i think we have several father son selections for the next several years and some at this stage are considered to be very high draft picks :D

So continue to post shit like you are, go crazy, but dont compare 1 decent season to what Carlton has done, is doing and will do to in the future and compare that to St Kilda.

St Kilda has some serious talent - no doubt, but your second tier players played above themselves last year - will they be able to keep that up this year will be interesting to see.

16 premerships to 1

1 wooden spoon to 27

St Kilda has along way to go before you can come here and give us crap

what the F are you on???

Goit nothing to celebrate, eh?

Too much time on your hands so you want to Shit stir here.

You've got 13 top twenty picks in your side and you still haven't won a flag. That's not just pathetic its hopeless. It's certainly worse that Essendon* 1999. Either your cattle are failures, or your coach and damin require replacement, and immediately.

We'll enjoy this season, and the next.

You, on the other hand, will self implode, and fail.

History repeating itself.

Hey Nexus,Brendan Goddard was a lifelong Carlton supporter and dreamed all his life of donning the old dark navy blue. But Brendan was realistic and realized with the draft his chances of playing with his beloved blues were slim.No problems. But it became pretty evident as the year wore on that he would be within the blues grasp. And as we all know it was virtually a done deal he would become ours due to us finishing bottom.Brendan was devestated that we finished bottom for the first time ever, but in a way happy because now his lifelong boyhood dream was his.Go back in time Nexus and just imagine the same scenario as a boy.The out and out joy of a youth, the excitement. And then due to something completely out of your control, and at the very last minute, your dream shattered before your eyes. Can you imagine the anguish and complete despare Nexus. To have your heart broken in such a cruel and heartless fashion............Nexus,if you get any joy out of that, then the kindest thing i can say is you must be a peculiar human being.Cold, heartless, and devoid of any feelings whatsoever.Sure,be wrapt that hes yours, but spare a thought for the boy as a human being and try to feel a bit of what he felt.

I keep hearing that but I suspect its a common theme used by those who dont know better.
In 2007 Andrew Walker will be 20, our KPP in Thornton, Fisher, Norman and Livo will all be 23 or younger.
Players like Stevens, Houla, Fev, Red, Teague etc will be in their prime.

Then theres our kids like Russell, Hartlett, Raso, Betts, Blackwell and co. coming up.
The difference is we were able to draft reasonable quality with late picks in those years.
Thanks for your concerns NN but we should scrape thru.

If I picked up a 1957 mint edition fender telocaster and played a 5 minute solo in front of a packed house at wembley I would still sound like shit. If Eric Clapton picked up my beaten up hole-filled no-name $8 at the local market acoustic and played it on my dunny it would sound like heaven.

Wells and Goddard are wasted talent as far as I am concerned. I would rather the bit-part players we have being moulded by the master, than A-grade top shelf talent being coached by talentless hacks......
